Spring is here and we are ready at Bellflower Design! We know that right now the weather is amazing and it is time to take full advantage of the outdoors, whether it’s relaxing in your backyard or on your front porch, we want to help you add some color to your life. That being said, listed below are some popular plants full of spring color!

Gardenia

Gardenia’s are an evergreen shrub that are loved for their fragrant white flowers and glossy leaves. This show stopping shrub is great for full sun or partial shade and reaches a sizes of approx. 3-4 ft. tall and wide.

Fire Cracker Penstemon

Fire Cracker Penstemon’s are known for the striking red small flowers and sculptural appearance. The penstemon is great for areas with full sun to partial shade and add unique texture to xeriscape gardens.

Agave Parryi

Parry’s Agave is know for its silver/blue color and artichoke shape. This agave is on the smaller size reaching 2-3 ft. height and spread. Parry’s Agave is perfect for adding texture and color to a low water garden.

Blue chalk is a low growing, bright and modern succulent. This blue succulent spreads as a carpet plant reaching 1 ft. in height and has a 3 ft. spread. If you need a show stopping ground cover be sure to keep Blue Chalk in mind.

Hibiscus are bright and bold flowers that give your space a tropical vibe. The hibiscus shrub loves full sun and grows to become a statement piece in any landscape.
